while neoliberal and conservative politicians and media leave no opportunity to stress the importance of good performances and efficiency, they create an atmosphere of sheer pressure and immense fear of failure, especially among kids and students. the threat of being unimportant and irrelevant, of being a loser in a situation of constant competition leads to the fact that some kids see no other way to show their relevance than to arm up themselves and start a massacre at their school, the place in which they were shown their role in the game day by day.
